Jio, AMD, Cisco ve Nokia’nın Yapay Zeka Destekli Telekom Platformu

Jio Platforms Limited (JPL), AMD, Cisco, and Nokia have announced a groundbreaking new initiative called the Open Telecom AI Platform at the Mobile World Congress 2025, set to revolutionize the telecommunications sector. This platform will optimize network management through artificial intelligence, providing advantages in security, efficiency, and cost reduction. Designed for telecom operators and digital service providers, it will transform existing network infrastructure into a more intelligent, autonomous operating system.

A Revolution in Telecom with Artificial Intelligence

The new platform will create a central intelligence layer that encompasses all telecom domains. Through the integration of AI and automation, networks will become safer and more efficient. Operators will be able to monitor and optimize their networks in real-time using Large Language Models (LLMs), Small Language Models (SLMs), and traditional machine learning techniques. Its compatibility with open APIs will enhance the platform’s flexibility, allowing for seamless integration with various telecom systems.

JPL CEO Mathew Oommen stated that the new system will evolve networks into autonomous ecosystems capable of self-optimizing, enhancing customer experience, and generating new revenue models. He emphasized that this collaboration with AMD, Cisco, and Nokia will bring about the implementation of AI-driven, efficient, and intelligent telecom solutions.

Lisa Su, CEO of AMD, highlighted that their high-performance processors, GPUs, and AI solutions will shape the future of the telecom industry. Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins explained how their contributions include AI-driven security, data center network management, and analytical solutions for the platform. Nokia CEO Pekka Lundmark added that the platform would improve network management for operators, reduce costs, and create new service models.

The new Open Telecom AI Platform will be first implemented with Jio as its initial customer, followed by global expansion. This structure will serve as an open reference model for the telecom industry, offering significant improvements in security, customer experience, and operational efficiency. This initiative will accelerate the development and commercialization of AI-supported telecom solutions, heralding a new era in the digital services ecosystem.
