Didem Balçın, known for the Çakallarla Dans series, Diriliş Ertuğrul, and Korkma Ben Yanındayım, announced that her father, Abdülkadir Mahmut Balçın, passed away on the evening of May 4th, Sunday.

The famous actress, who laid her father to rest on May 6th, moved her followers with her latest post.

“HOW LOVED YOU WERE”

Sharing photos with her father, Balçın expressed, “My dear father… There is no right time for your departure; goodbyes always come too soon. Being the daughter of a perfect father is a fortune we inherit… Whatever I am today, in this body and wherever I stand, it is thanks to you… You taught me so much and thousands of your students… Those who experienced your joyful, healthy days may have long passed, but each of them shared how they remember you. How loved you were… That is the best, Dad… You are so wonderful to those who knew you. To be remembered so fondly in moments of your existence is the greatest, Dad… You loved my mother and us beautifully. You taught us how to love well… Rest easy now. Thank you a thousand times… You always read us poetry… With that beautiful voice of yours. That’s how you will always remain in my heart,” she wrote.

Didem Balçın also included lines from İbrahim Sadri’s poem “Bir Adın Kalmalı” in her post:
